Stoke-on-Trent Community Drug & Alcohol Service offers free brief intervention training and substance misuse awareness training to a range of partner organisations.
Our training is designed to ensure you have a clear understanding of the services we deliver and the referral pathways. We will improve your awareness around drug and alcohol misuse, ensuring you are able to provide basic advice and information, and brief interventions, to the people you work with.
We offer training to professionals from adult social care services, children’s services, magistrates, pharmacies, primary care including GP practice staff, A&E and ambulance staff, police and fire and rescue staff, employment and training staff, housing support staff and domestic violence and abuse agencies.
Training is delivered on a bespoke basis to meet the needs and learning objectives of the group. If you would like to make an enquiry about training, contact the office on 01782 283 113.
