TOG24 Donates Coats To Support Vulnerable People in Stoke-on-Trent

Our Outreach Team is out and about across Stoke-on-Trent all year round, supporting people without stable accommodation who are affected by drugs or alcohol. As the weather turns colder, those connections become even more important.

This winter, we’re especially grateful to the team at TOG24 in Trentham Shopping Village, who have kindly donated a selection of high-quality pre-loved winter coats to help us bring a little extra warmth and comfort to the people we support.

This donation came from TOG24’s coat exchange initiative, where customers were encouraged to donate their pre-loved coats when buying a new one. The response was fantastic – a true reflection of our community’s generosity and compassion.

Our Outreach Team will now hand out the coats during their visits across the city over the coming weeks, ensuring they reach those most in need.

“Winter can be a really difficult time for anyone without stable accommodation,” said Stephen Griffiths, Outreach Team Leader at CDAS. “A warm coat can be a lifeline during the cold months, and this generous donation will make a big difference to the people we support – helping them stay warm through some of the toughest months of the year.”

Thank you to everyone at TOG24 and every shopper who took part. Your kindness will make a real difference this winter to people facing incredibly tough circumstances.
