The support and help we give you will depend on whether it’s alcohol or drugs you are struggling with, and of course, what kind of drug. Our main priority is to build a strong relationship between you and your recovery coordinator.
Your worker will use different approaches and tools, these might include 1-1 sessions using cognitive behaviour therapy, group sessions, worksheets and motivational interviewing techniques. All of these approaches are evidence based, which means we know that they work. They will be there to support you in a non judgemental and professional way.
We work alongside other services and can help you to access other services which may also help you, such as housing support or benefits support.
